Example Robot: Bop! by Craig Croucher
Craig built this adorable four wheel drive hammer robot called Bop! – He uses an XT30 with built in mount for his link dock – he’s bolted this to the base of the robot and added a polycarbonate link door to prevent the link getting knocked out – a great tip! Check out his build diary on the forum.

Love this product. I made a little holder from heat bent polycarb and mounted 25mm down, on the inside wall of the back plate so only the zip tie on the link stuck out above the top plate.

Massively simplifies design link mounts for Beetleweight robots. Securely holds the XT30M and isn’t much harder than a normal XT30 to solder the wires to. The mounting holes were Ø2.0mm but were easily drilled out to Ø2.5mm and there is space for the screw heads to fit.
100% recommended for Beetleweight links.
