Repeat Compact Brushless Planetary 22mm Gearmotor
£46.50
The smallest and lightest beetleweight drive that we know of! Repeat’s take on the classic 22mm brushless drive with plenty of power from a trusty 1806 brushless motor. Extra robust due to a billet 4mm hardened steel shaft & motor is directly integrated to the gearbox. Can be mounted with our 22mm face mounts or FingerTech’s Mega Spark face mounts. The planetary gearbox also has squared off ring gear for weight saving and more mounting options. Pair well with BBB AM32 ESC or Repeat Dual AM32 ESC. CAD: STEP. Wiring diagram, motor drawing & spares info below.
Spares:
Hardened Planet Gears:
These gears are hobbed and hardened, increasing the strength of the output stage – comes in a set of 3 gears.
6mm shaft with faceplate upgrade kit:
14g weight with full length shaft, ~5g increase over stock 4mm shaft. Dual ball bearing supports, 6mm shaft already assembled.

Jed –
The smallest and lightest beetle motors you can get, with no sacrifice in power!
A pair of these took me to the top 8 with AntiThesis at BBB Champs 2024. I had these shunting an effective 4.5kg or so of robot around – me, my opponent, and enough magnets to stick myself to the ceiling. It was definitely working them hard, but they took it
Just be aware, these are very fast motors. Use small wheels or gear them down. I was getting plenty of speed with 32mm wheels on 4s.
