5V 0.5A Micro BEC

(1 customer review)

£3.50

A BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) supplies a lowered voltage from the lipo suitable for the receiver and servos in your robot.

This is a tiny BEC weighs barely more than a gram and takes a 2-4S input and outputs 5V at low current which is great for powering a receiver. If you want to also power a servo consider the larger 5V 3A BEC instead!

This BEC comes with some wire to solder it with. We recommend you add a JST connector so you can plug it into receivers that have pins. CAD: STEP file (thanks Felix!) Example circuit diagrams below.

Was really doubting whether these would hold up to my dumb beetle designs, but the interior of Bonbonbonbon is far too small for the other BEC Bristol Bot Builders sell. Quelle suprise when one of these held up to 5 hard-hitting fights and a helluva lot of testing over two long roboteering weekends both in the UK and US. Highly recommend for powering your Rx in a tight space.
