Battle Hardening:

Remove each of the four screws in the gearbox, clean the grease off and reinsert with a small amount of red (high strength) threadlocker. Allow 24hrs to cure. Alternatively some builders like to use adhesive heatshrink over the gearbox and motor.

We also recommend using blue (medium strength) threadlocker on mounting screws when mounting your motors to your chassis. Each time you removed the screws this will need to be cleaned off and reapplied.

    Dependable.
You won’t find a setup cheaper with this level of reliability.
It’s the first thing I think of when I want to make a drive.

  4. Stuart (verified owner)

What a great kit. I found is really helpful in finalising my 1st design as it was all there for you to move around and work out your placement and dimensions. I would definitely recommend adding the break out cable as it makes things so much easier.

  5. Jack (verified owner)

Awesome kit for building a beetle. Enough to get a good start on the electronics without pigeonholing you into a set build/design.

    Can’t recommend enough!

  6. Jimmi Cottam (verified owner)

Super convenient and super affordable. Definitely grab a set or two as they’re handy to have, especially when you need spares. Quick delivery too!

  7. Sam (verified owner)

Great kit, simple enough to be able to get my head around for a first build!
